What you'll be doingAdministration
Personnel and Finance Administration
- Undertake Arrivals and Move and Track procedures for all personnel administratively assigned to the Garrison Admin Office and during temporary absences.
- Maintain all Pay documentation for SP ensuring documentation and records are compliant with annual Staff and Personnel Support (SPS) Inspection.
- Check all allowances for SP and implement pay and allowances policy as directed.
- Create and input and Element Entries e.g. Food Incidentals Allowance, Specialist Pay, Substitution Pay, Voluntary deductions and any other entries as required.
- Assist in processing applications for Insurance and similar as required.
- Assist in financial administration under direction of AGAO.
- Advise SP about allowances in accordance with policy references.
- Provide technical support to JPA Self-Service user.
- Assist in the maintenance of JPA personal records for all SP.
Management and Assurance
- Run Management Assurance Checks/JPA Reporting and Management reports as directed in the Garrison Management Check Plan on monthly or quarterly basis or as required.
- Review Statement of Earnings (SOE) of all SP on monthly basis.
- First line management check of SOE and SPS Management Administration Table (SMART) reports identifying, recording and amending incorrect pay and allowance details of SP and advising SP direct and/or AGAO of remedial action required as appropriate.
- Recording of Management check observations on Central Observation Sheet Management Information Control (COSMIC) on monthly basis.
- Acting as JPA expense authoriser 1
*Specific Responsibilities*
- Statement of Earnings Assignment and Salary Information (SOEASI) management and control, ensuring system is updated regularly iaw SPS direction to ensure availability for all staff to utilise and Subject Matter Expertise for all technical queries.
Experience
- Knowledge of all applicable systems and processes
- Knowledge of company timelines and deadlines
- Knowledge of customer and client documentation, competition and deadlines
* Must possess NVQ level 2, ECDL or equivalent.

- Previous experience of working in a similar environment is desirable
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
