We are looking for two high-calibre undergraduate students to join our Human Resources department on a 12-month placement in our Talent Acquisition (Recruitment) and HR Consulting teams.

Within the EMEA Corporate offices, you will be part of a cohort of approximately 35 Interns, working across various corporate teams and involved in our leading intern programme. This includes regular connect meetings, short assignments and feedback sessions designed to support your development.
A bit about the job(s)
As an intern, you will be an integral part of the team and will play an active role in our continued success. You will carry out a range of administrative/support activities, as well as having ownership of your own project-based initiatives.
We have opportunities in two teams in our HR department. So, here's a bit about what each team does;
Talent Acquisition (Recruitment)
The Talent Acquisition Team support our corporate functions and hotels with all stages of recruitment activity across Europe, Middle East and Africa. This is a great opportunity to gain an understanding of the many processes involved in hiring for a range of different disciplines. In particular, you will be supporting with the recruitment across all of our Graduate Programmes across EMEA. As well as supporting with the delivery of our recruitment processes, you will also be our designated 'systems expert' and will provide management information and reports on recruitment activity as and when required. You will support with Recruitment events, such as Conferences and Assessment Centres, and will gain first hand insight into what it takes to build industry-leading teams on an international scale.
HR Consulting (Corporate)
This role is a great opportunity to get insight into the role of a HR Generalist in a matrix environment as it incorporates insight into all aspects of HR, offering a great breadth of experience in just 12 months. Some of your day-to-day tasks may include supporting with employee relations matters, assisting with HR and business data analysis, creating reports and presentations for internal and external audiences up to and including a senior level, and supporting the HR team with the coordination, communication and promotion of EMEA wide engagement and wellbeing initiatives (e.g. Thrive @ Hilton) for our Corporate Team Members.
What are we looking for?
As with any job, we do have certain criteria that you will need to meet in order to be considered for one of these highly sought after opportunities. These are detailed as follows;

Must be in your second year of undergraduate study at the point of application
- Must be available to start in July 2023, for the full 12 months.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK. If you are a non-UK national, without EU Settled or Pre-Settled Status then you will need to be studying at a UK university in order to be eligible to undertake a placement here.
- You should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in Human Resources
- Able to manage confidential information with absolute discretion
- Highly personable and able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in your approach to work
