Silawrap based in Gorey, Co Wexford, Ireland is part of the Signode brand, an industrial packaging company. Signode has grown and diversified its portfolio of enterprises to include the manufacture of strapping, slip-sheets, corner-boards and pallet wrapping film. It also manufactures the machinery to apply these products and among its brands are Octopus, Mima and Strapex. Silawrap has been produced in Gorey since 1996. While the UK and Ireland account for more than 60% of Silawrap sales, over 16 million rolls have, to date, been manufactured and sold worldwide.
You will be part of a small sales team for silage film and Net Replacement Film produced in our plant in Gorey, Ireland.
It is crucial to understand not only the products, but even more the needs and the value these products generate for farmers and contractors.
A farming background or proven successful sales experience in agriculture is a must. As you will be responsible for the UK market, you are based in UK.
Besides sales negotiations, this is a practical oriented function where it is essential to conduct on-site tests and demonstrations.
Due to the seasonal character of this business, intensive travel and dynamic customer interaction and communication is a must.
To keep a strong connection with the production and with the back office, you will meet the sales team periodically at the production plant.
The sales team needs to truly act and interact as a team to ensure success. Hence, it is important that you match and complement the existing team members.

Full Clean Driving Licence
- Previous experience in sales (min 2 years) Agricultural sales desirable
