Responsibilities include:
- MS SQL Server scripting experience and ability to identify and resolve issues within the data and data structure.
- The ability to develop a broad knowledge of our in house software and its debugging tools.
- An ability to grasp technical concepts and new product functionality quickly.
- Extract data from SQL databases for reporting purposes.
- Be the "voice of the network" through constant engagement with the Right at Home Franchise Owners, gathering feedback on IT Services to drive change.
- Work with the business to agree dates and times for key user impacting changes.
- Hold all areas of Systems accountable for service delivery and reducing the number of outages through Problem, Change and Incident management.
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure all products, processes and service offerings are aligned with local/national needs and legislative requirements.
- Manage and deliver the Systems Service support strategy across the Right at Home franchise network.
- Own IT training, being able to deliver support and upskilling in a face to face capacity across the Right at Home network.
- Drive positive change and effective system usage with the design and delivery of systems training.
- Offer bespoke group and 1-1 support to Franchise Owners and their team’s following curation and evaluation of feedback to drive efficiencies and improvements.
- Drive and deliver a consistent, high level of service across the business.
- Budgetary responsibility where applicable.
- Sitting on the Change Advisory Board and Systems & Innovation Focus Group, influencing the IT organisation in the effective management of demand and prioritisation of resources and services on behalf of Right at Home.
- Maintain an awareness and understanding of the views of the user on technology nationally and ensure both positive and constructive feedback are being discussed within the technology function.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and have experience in a similar capacity in a fast-moving industry; and most importantly have the attitude and desire to be the best in our sector!
It should be noted that this role will be based at National Office in Liverpool and successful applicants will be expected in the office at least twice per week. Travel to other locations is expected to satisfy the wider demands of the business.
A strong candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous IT Service Delivery Management experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Determination and drive to add value to the Franchise Owners.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships at all levels within a complex stakeholder environment
- The ability to work well under pressure; thriving in a busy and fast-moving environment.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills; along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess the ability to always respond positively and promptly to requests using initiative to seek solutions to problems.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver against tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- A thorough understanding of working in a professional, service driven environment and stakeholder/client/business confidentiality.
- Confident and professional manner with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels.
- Collaborative and supportive of the business and its initiatives.
- Adaptable and open to change showing a willingness and confidence to make suggestions for change where appropriate.
