Teaching Assistant required to work in the Early Years
Required from Monday 17th April 2023
Temporary contract until July 2023
Salary £26,193 - £26,625 pro-rata
32.5 hours per week Monday - Friday (39 weeks per year)
8.50 am - 3.50 pm (with a 30 minute lunch break)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable individual to join our team of teaching assistants.
The successful applicant will work as part of the Early Years Team, working under the leadership and supervision of the Early Years Leaders. You will work with individual pupils, groups and whole classes to support learning and give pastoral support to pupils. You will support teachers in preparing resources and the learning environment.
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, relate well to children, be self-motivated and have a calm, professional manner. Experience of working with or caring for pupils of relevant age is essential.
Childeric Primary School is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS); as well as reference checks.
