Job Description
About Us
Wild Pines Park is one of the UK's largest tree top and zip lining adventure courses in the UK with over 1050m in the trees with 22 zip lines. We are located just outside Market Rasen in Lincolnshire.
Job Summary
We are looking for an outstanding individual with a professional sparkling personality that is capable of thinking on their feet in variety of situations. You will act as the front of a company that prides itself on perfect customer service, ensuring that all our customers leave happy with their expectations exceeded.
Your average day will consist of:
- Pre Course checks to ensure safe passage through our 5 courses.
- Preparing the site and equipment
- Meeting and greeting customers and then harnessing the groups taking part.
- Taking customers through a safety brief and demonstration and assessing them for suitability
- Monitoring the course once the customers are in the trees, assisting as and when required either from below or with them in the trees.
- Rescuing customers down from the trees if they can't continue at height.
- Interacting with all our customers to the highest level of customer service. Working and helping people from all backgrounds.
- Running archery sessions as and when required
- Running team building sessions as and when required
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. You need a good head for heights and have the ability to complete all our 5 courses with ease. Climbing qualifications and/or familiarity with climbing equipment and techniques would be very advantageous. We are looking at individuals with outstanding personalities with the ability to hold conversations with everyone and resolve problems quickly and professionally.
If you have an ERCA Instructor or Rescuer qualification, if successful, will be fast tracked to the higher pay grades.
Full training will be given. The job is extremely rewarding and at times challenging too where you will be in contact with customers continually. You will need to be flexible with finishing times as customers can take 4 hours to complete the course and so the finish times each day do vary.
You must be self motivating, mature in nature with a good sense of humour. You will need to be 18 or over.
Days of work/hours
You will be required to work weekdays in June and July, weekends and week days during the Summer holidays. Obviously there is some flexibility as some days will be quieter than others. The work starts in April and ends in October. Hourly rate of £10.50 an hour (rising to £13.50p/h when fully trained). We start at 9am and finish around 3-6pm.
We recommend that you visit www.wildpinespark.com before you come to an interview.
