Control Engineer

You will be based in one of the following locations: Cardiff, Aberdare, Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Swansea, Port Talbot, Cwmbran. Other locations will also be considered.

This role would suit an individual with an electrically biased skill set and experience of PLC’s looking for a long-term permanent position within a forward-thinking company.
The Role:
-Working on electrical maintenance as well as some mechanical maintenance
-Working to minimise downtime and maximise output across the site
-Duties will include but are not limited to: engineering projects, fault finding, site maintenance, and more
-Working a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (2 days/2 nights)
-Excellent work life balance as you will only work around 150 shifts per year,

The Person:
-Electrically biased engineer
-Ideally you will have previous experience in a team leader role or similar
-You will have experience of working with PLC’s and drives
-You will ideally hold a form of electrical qualification
-Looking for a long-term permanent position
