For our division Sales Europe at our location in central London we are looking for a
Finance Assistant (m/f/d) UK
YOUR TASKS:
- In this role, you will support our Finance team with the day-to-day management of bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, expenses and the associated treasury and cash management.
- With your structured way of working, you always keep an overview whilst ensuring the ledgers and payments are managed efficiently to timetable, and for a range of medium sized customer accounts, ensuring debt is efficiently collected and risk of bad debts is minimized.
- You will also work alongside Customer Services to resolve incoming customer queries.
- Beyond that, you prepare payment runs twice a month, carry out general finance duties in support of the Accountant and post cash receipts and payments on a daily basis to ensure the bank statement and GL cash account are fully reconciled and up to date.
- Last but not least, you are involved in the audit, preparing supporting documentation and liaising with auditors.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in finance environment
- AAT qualified and know-how in Accounts Payable / Receivable, Cash Management and Bookkeeping
- Teamplayer, with the ability to adapt to varied situations and the initiative and accountability for own areas of responsibility
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Good communicator and positive contributor
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and SAP
- Excellent English language skills, knowledge of German is advantageous
