Our organisation is set up and run by neurodiverse people who are passionate about all things neurodiverse that share the objective to make high quality, private mental healthcare more accessible and inclusive.
We connect patients with accredited and regulated specialists who carry out high standard Autism and ADHD Assessment following best practice models.
We operate as a not-for-profit, which means our priority is always to give a high quality, person-centred service at as low a rate as possible. We also donate assessments to help fight the structural and cultural barriers preventing access to neurodevelopmental assessments across the UK.
Due to exponential growth We are looking for empathetic and knowledgeable psychology graduates to join our team on a part time or full time basis.
You will be the first point of contact for our patients. As part of the triage team, you will use your clinical knowledge, and effective questioning and communication skills to gain all the information you need in order for the patient to receive the best service possible and signpost the person onto the correct path.
Responsibilities:
- To act as the first point of contact for S E I K Psychiatry and use your clinical knowledge to triage patients seeking help through our services
- To assist in review of assessment reports.
- To manage the booking, changing, and cancellation of appointments on our purpose-built database.
- Maintain accurate, up to date records of all patient information including attendances, appointments, assessments, and ongoing care.
- Appropriately liaise with professionals, patients, carers and family members adhering to confidentiality policies at all times.
- Seek advice where necessary to manage risks and concerns.
Requirements:
- Minimum of undergraduate degree in Psychology or relevant subject, or final year of study
- Demonstrate first-hand experience working or volunteering in a mental health and / or neurodevelopmental setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Clear understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality in all areas of work
- Knowledge of mental health terminology, ideally relating to ADHD and Autism
- Excellent telephone manner, clear confident style
- Resilience and ability to work as a team while working semi - remotely
