Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 5 pm
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

It is an exciting time to join the MERKUR Casino UK HR team in recruitment. We’re looking for a focused, proactive and tenacious Internal Recruiter to join us at an exciting time.
MERKUR Casino UK currently operates over 220 MERKUR Slots Venues, 3 Family Entertainment Centres and 3 MERKUR Bingo clubs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Internal Recruiter to join us to find great people for our new and existing venues. You’ll need to have great administration skills, with an ability to juggle advertising, screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates whilst working on key recruitment-related projects. You’ll need to have previous in-house/on-site as an RPO recruitment experience. Working in a team of 4 and reporting to the Recruitment Team Leader you will be a key contact for our Operations Team.
The ideal candidate will have either worked in-house carrying out recruitment on behalf of a business or worked on-site as an RPO for a recruitment agency, with experience of volume recruitment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- First point of contact for new venues
- Ensure advertisements are accurate, attractive and generate suitable candidates.
- Shortlisting and telephone interviewing suitable applicants
- Communicate regularly with hiring managers across the UK to ensure applications are progressed in a timely and professional manner
- Find solutions for difficult to fill vacancies
- Proactively sourcing alternative ways to attract talent
- Assisting with Support function vacancies
- Supporting the recruitment for our existing venues
- Suggesting new ideas and innovative approaches on how we can apply best practice
- Advocating recruitment activities such as our Referral Scheme to drive internal efforts
- Building good working relationships with hiring managers, actively educating them about key hiring trends and demonstrating market expertise.
Required Skills
- Previous volume recruitment experience either in-house or on-site as RPO with an agency
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Solution finder with a 'can do' attitude.
- Highly organised with great time management
- Excellent work ethic, willing and committed to 'over and above'
- Knowledge of Right to Work Legislation in the UK
