Working Monday - Wednesday each week, you will be assisting with data entry on our in-house systems. Tracking vehicles, dealing with loading & unloading issues at both collection & delivery points as well as in the depot. You will work alongside the team handling supplier & customer enquiries, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all documentation and necessary paperwork. Due to the nature of the business, we would require you to work overtime providing holiday cover where needed and occasional Saturdays for a couple of hours on a rotational basis.
We need you to have strong verbal, written & interpersonal skills as you will be required to communicate with various stakeholders within the business. Solid Microsoft Office computer skills are essential, whilst working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is vital. Knowledge of transport operations would be advantageous but not essential. You should be self-motivated and have the capacity to use your own initiative to complete tasks efficiently and to the best of your ability. A degree of flexibility and adaptability is required, to be successful in this role.
