Job Description
Battersea Fields Residents Organisation Ltd. is a residents’ led democratic organisation, established in order to improve and provide an effective and quality Housing Management service for those living on Battersea Park Estate.
We have a vacancy on offer to join our dedicated estate cleaning team working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday plus one day each weekend on a monthly rotation. (6 days / 47 hours per week)
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operational
- Cleaning of communal internal and external areas such as lifts, stairs, paths and green spaces in accordance with the cleaning schedules.
- Removing any dumped refuse bags and household items to refuse chambers or other refuse areas.
- Checking communal lighting and replacing blown bulbs.
- Sweeping of hard surfaces and litter picking.
- Reporting required repairs / maintenance in communal areas.
- Other reasonable duties as directed by the Cleaning and Housing Managers.
2. Personal
- Ensure clothing, footwear and personal hygiene is of the highest standards at all times.
- Ensure you wear and use the personal protective equipment supplied to you.
3. General
- Good communication skills including a decent command of English.
- Perform any other duties that may reasonably be required.
- Suggest areas of improvement and take any corrective action as required.

Salary: £11.05-£11.95 per hour
