Role Details – PMO Analyst
We are currently looking for an experienced PMO Analyst to join a legal and professional services provider based in Birmingham on an FTC.
The PMO Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery and reporting of a range of programmes and projects for a 12-month fixed term. You will support the Head of Solution Delivery in maximising value of resource in the delivery of our project portfolio. This role will see you have a particular focus on delivering IT capabilities and projects
Key responsibilities of the PMO Analyst
- Tracking project and programme information to ensure that projects stay on track and enabling project teams to work efficiently and effectively.
- Analysing project data to form recommendation to form thinking of improved project delivery practices. Supporting the project/change sponsor in writing clear requirements that can be easily translated into technical requirements
- Creating monthly portfolio reporting pack to deliver to senior management Supporting test plan creation and execution as part of release management of change
- Ad hoc programme/project level support
- Managing Portfolio critical path
Key skills required of the PMO Analyst
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
- Project planning, estimation, and contract management skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability maintain relationship with senior stakeholders
