Your role
Do you have a strong technical background and experience working within the web and cloud security team? If so, we’re looking for a risk assessor to join the CIS Governance & Policy team, led by the group chief information officer that can:
- Be a key member in a team that will perform risk assessments that are in line with the controls, processes, policies and programs that protect our clients and firm.
- Proactively and constructively work on refining the risk assessment process using your experience and knowledge.
- Partner with the Policy & Governance team to ensure that cyber risk within the company is within appetite.
- Become a trusted partner for both, business and IT stakeholders in a highly federated environment.
- Aid junior risk assessor with their assessments whilst developing them further.
Your team
Cyber & Information Security (CIS) Services is the single point of contact and recognized subject matter expert for all matters related to cyber & information security in UBS. You’ll be working with team members located across the globe on a range of topics including maintenance and continuous improvement of processes, such as technical risk management and internet access governance.

Your expertise
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, maths).
- Significant professional experience working in IT specifically in cyber & information security.
- team player leveraging excellent problem solving, analytical skills and leadership skills.
- strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate complex concepts effectively to stakeholders from a range of technical backgrounds and seniorities.
- excellent spoken and written English is required. French, German or Italian speaking candidates preferred but not necessary.
- experience working with information and cyber security risk management frameworks and threat management frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK).
- relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, SANS, or equivalent would provide an advantage.
