We are currently seeking for experienced cashiers for our Harrods Concessions who will support the Sales team, understand and effectively follow all point of sale procedures e.g. Customer Compliance, Till procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Take all steps to ensure transactions are processed accurately and securely
- Manage the end of day cashing up process and ensure the till transactions reconcile
- Report any errors of discrepancies to a member of management immediately
- Follow card and cash handling policies and procedures at all times
- Treat all customer data with the upmost confidentiality and sensitivity
- Ensure all clients receive the highest standards of customer service
- Demonstrate excellent product and range knowledge
- Attend team meetings and make a positive contribution to discussion
- Support where required in supporting the team to maximise the boutique’s performance
- Support the management and the rest of the cashier team
- Carry out any additional duties as directed by the Management Team
Till
- Support Cashier team with any cash handling and ensure card and cash policies and procedures are adhered at all times
- Support daily operations at till points and participate in cashing up
- Process all invoices, credit notes and repairs paperwork, ensuring all costs are accurate and a precise record kept
- Take all steps to ensure transactions are processed accurately and securely
- Manage the end of day cashing up process and ensure the till transactions reconcile by end of the day.
- Report any errors of discrepancies to a member of management immediately
- Ensure the tills are cashed end of the day
- Send the figures on a daily basis
Administrative responsibilities:
- Support the Stock team on administrative tasks and any other further tasks and developments
- CARE software - claims and repairs of clients
- Daily clients returns/exchanges
- Organizing cash/till procedure training for all the staff
Service/CDM
- Ensure all clients receive the highest standards of customer service
- Demonstrate excellent product and range knowledge
- Act as a support for CDM by ensuring that the client database is properly updated
- Treat all customer data with the upmost confidentiality and sensitivity
