This Role
This role reports to the Vatting Instruction Team Leader based at our Kilmalid site. In this role you will prepare blend formulae to support cased and bulk sales in excess of 26 M Std 9 Ltr cases utilising inventory ranging from 3 to 60 years old.
Your Unique Contribution
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Produce vatting instructions to meet the 4 week dumping plans. These must adhere to all current formula parameters and take into account transport and warehousing efficiency
- Ensure vatting instructions meet all legislative and quality criteria.
- Ensure future inventory capability by appropriate allocation of stock while meeting the inventory depletions plan
- Effectively utilise quality & survey rated inventory in conjunction with the Blending Team
- Actively improve warehouse space issues using the Power B.I. part stow/tier search tool to identify/allocate/relocate inventory as appropriate
- In conjunction with the Operations Teams, ensure warehouse closures/site maintenance does not impact spirit supply
- Utilise/relocate inventory at external sites within contract parameters.
- Produce consolidation and repatriation to maintain warehouse space criteria.
- Ensure availability of spirit and support Operational Planning Team in providing the correct spirit for vatting, bottling and exports.
- Update spirit quality information on SMP.
- Liaise with Blenders & BOM Team to facilitate creation of new spirit codes on SMP.
- Work with Operational Planners to define the process for NPD
- Follow empty cask process and investigate when required to ensure inventory accuracy
- Assist with warehouse audits as required
- Provide management information and month end reports as required.
