Job Introduction

Main Responsibilities
The ICT Business Analyst supports business areas in analysing and reviewing business processes that would benefit from the use of efficient ICT solutions. They plan, lead and document stakeholder workshops to capture the ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ requirements. Using the results of their investigations and working with stakeholders they explore all feasible options analysing the impact of making a change.
The ICT Business Analyst works closely with colleagues in ICT as well as key stakeholders in business areas, who could be from any part of the County Council or its partner organisations. These working relationships are an important aspect of the role.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have significant experience in critically and logically analysing business processes, systems and data to deliver effective ICT solutions and transformational change.
They will be a good listener and collaborator and able to develop strong working relationships with the ability to convince and present complex information in an accessible format.
