Overall purpose of this role
- Implementing the in-house organic strategy utilising best practice approaches to drive organic performance by writing engaging and helpful content.
- Supporting the development of ecommerce initiatives and best practice.
- Take a brief and produce on-brand copy across several channels to a high standard and tight deadlines.
- Working towards agreed objectives and clearly defined deliverables, the role will assist the organic and Ecommerce Teams in the fulfilment of an agreed strategy in support of continued business growth.
- Report on key performance indicators and assist with the monitoring of the online KPI’s.
- Work closely with the wider marketing team and build close relationships with other internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for implementing the content strategy and assisting with projects within the organic roadmap across the brand. This will include developing and implementing detailed content strategies, project plans and performance insights. You will also support the social and email marketing teams through content planning to maximise visibility and engagement across our customer channels.
- Using provided keyword research to craft content that is engaging and helpful for our audience groups whilst also improving organic visibility.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure all copy has a consistent tone of voice and is on-brand.
- Identify opportunities regarding new topics, existing content gaps, and up-and-coming industry trends and contribute to the creative and idea generation processes.
- Researching industry and relevant topics, information sources and new trends to write helpful and engaging content.
- Edit and thoroughly proofread copy written by yourself and others.
- Write blog posts, content pieces, articles and/or advertising to drive traffic across all areas of Marketing.
Key Experience & Skills
- 1 year of experience in a content writing or creation role
- A keen eye for detail, with meticulous attention to spelling and grammar.
- An excellent grasp of the English language, including exceptional spelling, grammar and punctuation is essential.
- A willingness and readiness to learn, and to potentially expand your existing knowledge and skills.
- You're self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative, with a can-do attitude.
- You thrive in a team environment but you're also able to work independently.
- An open mind to new ideas and constructive criticism
Desirable Experience & Skills
- Degree in English, journalism, creative writing, or a similar field is beneficial.
- A working knowledge of SEO and E-E-A-T
- A copywriting portfolio is always useful.
- Any existing knowledge of medical content planning and writing

Salary: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
