Job Description
We require a talented administrator to support our amazing service.
DAILY DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
1. To contribute to a happy atmosphere in the home.
2. To greet all visitors to the Home in a pleasant and courteous manner, and to ensure that they meet with the appropriate resident or staff member.
3. To be responsible for manning and operating the Home's switchboard and computer facilities. To ensure that all incoming telephone calls and communications are handled in a courteous and efficient manner and that all incoming communications are delivered to the right person.
4. To handle incoming mail and ensure that it is promptly distributed within the Home, as required. To promptly handle and record all outgoing mail.
and other duties to include financial support and project administration
ESSENTIAL
- High level of literacy and numeracy
- Experience and knowledge of dealing with customers/clients
- Computer literate
- Familiar with use of accounting computer packages
- Ability to priorities
- Ability to set up office filing systems
DESIRABLE
- Previous experience in care home setting
- Experience in supporting different managers and senior staff
- Experience of ordering, storage of stationary supplies
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.50 per hour
