As the IT Analyst you will be responsible for providing on-site support, maintenance and fault diagnosis, to Manage diagnosis and resolution of IT operational problems. You will be required to support new business requirements, undertaking project work as required, supporting the installation and testing of new applications and projects while coordinating hardware procurement and repair as required.
Furthermore, you will support analysis and solution design as required. You will act as the first point of contact for IT queries, dealing with IT related problems and queries referred by other business teams. Within this role you will have an proactive approach in identifying and executing IT coaching and training needs and undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by the IT Manager.
The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Analysis & IT Solution Development - Development of business requirements & translation into IT solution definition for development, testing, deployment & ongoing service management.
- Deployment & support of warehouse & transport & associated business systems deployment and testing across multiple sites and contracts.
- Testing Preparation and maintenance of Test Scripts and Release Plans to LS UK Standard.
- Industry knowledge - Maintain knowledge of logistics, life sciences & healthcare including supply chain principles and associated IT & technology methodologies, competitors, solutions & market dynamics.
- Implementation & planning - understand and accurately quantify deployment requirements for implementation of IT systems, input to documentation & implementation project plan templates. Support for project delivery as required.

- Experience preferably in the logistics industry - desirable not essential.
- Experience gained in, or knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulatory & compliance – desirable.
- Experience with automation solutions is preferable - desirable but not essential.
- 1 year + in an IT role with experience of business systems support in an operational environment / IT project delivery support / IT service management / preferably with working knowledge of DSC IT products / processes / departments & service levels.
