Job purpose

We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals join our retail team as a Retail Assistant.
You will be part of the team, delivering excellent customer service within a fast-paced environment.
You will be a well organised individual, who can work in a team but also efficiently using your own
initiative. You will ensure that the health and safety within the Megastore/Warehouse is always
adhered to and take responsibility for the security of the warehouse and stock.

Key responsibilities

• To deliver exceptional Customer service in a fast-paced environment, through effective

• To support in the assistance of all internal and retail requests

• To assist in the efficient receipt of stock deliveries both incoming and outgoing

• You will assist in the checking/counting of deliveries in a timely manner and immediately

• To maintain sufficient levels of stock on shelves in the Megastore/Warehouse making items

• Picking and despatching of E-commerce orders

• To work in a “always keep tidy” manner and to adhere to health and safety at all times

• To promptly dispose of any rubbish on a daily basis

• When required you will provide the Store(s) with a daily replenishment of stock

• You will be able to pick and deliver to the store(s) when stock is urgently needed

• To be able to work on the own initiative and provide help and support to the team

• Able to use till and ticketing IT systems

• To liaise with suppliers through both e-mail and telephone conversation in the booking in of

• To have a good understanding of products and be ready for any promotional activities

• Work towards sales targets

• Be confident in offering additional sales and add-ons

• To assist with stocktakes when needed

• Answering the telephone in a professional manner

Job Title: Retail Assistant

Knowledge:

Desirable

• Previous Retail/Warehouse experience
• Knowledge and experience of Health and safety within a warehouse environment

• Football knowledge

Essential

• Customer service focus

• Be able to use till systems

• Heavy lifting may be required within the health and safety guidelines

• To be able to work to strict guidelines and deadlines

• Good written and oral communication skills

• To be able to read despatching notes
  

Desirable

• Shirt printing -training will be provided
• Working at height and use of ladders
