The department
A busy FP&A department consisting of staff at varying levels. The team work as a close unit, providing an excellent service to the Business and the Group in Paris. IT competency is vital, with systems such as CCH Tagetik (Strategic Reporting & Forecasting Tool), Microsoft GP (Accounting System), Proactis (Purchase Order system) and Magnitude (Group consolidation tool) playing a key role. A motivated, committed and quick learning individual will progress rapidly within the team and company.
Responsibilities
Assist Financial Planning and Analysis team:
Financial monthly closing including review of accruals and prepayments
Headcount reporting and follow up
Analytical allocations update and posting of analytical entries
Responsibility for Master EBIT file, ensuring all link files are updated and all comparators reflect current period. File used by entire department.
Maintenance of all month-end files such as expenditure reports, P&L, headcounts reports, Paris reporting templates and more
Production of monthly overhead expenditure, analysis and central function reports
Creating new models for analysis
Monthly/quarterly detailed financial reports for the business lines and regions
Quarterly forecasting tasks will include liaising with Budget Holders, data collection and input into Excel, headcount reconciliation and analysis of discrepancies
Annual Budget Process will include liaising with Budget Holders, data collection and input into Excel, headcount reconciliation and analysis of discrepancies
Assisting group FP&A team with ad-hoc analysis and presentations for the Board and the Bank
Responsible for P&L Group Reporting to central team in Paris using Magnitude
Prepare monthly reports for Paris and assist FP&A team in their analysis to Group
Ad hoc analysis (e.g. Cost Saving Analysis, Overhead allocations, CFO requests)
