The Old Hall Ely is a family run business. We are the top Wedding Venue in Cambridgeshire, and we run a successful restaurant and hotel business too. We are an events led company, and always have a very busy calendar, with both private and public events. ABOUT THE MARKETING EXECUTIVE ROLE:
Full Time position, Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
(Some evenings & Weekends required)
Full time Salary - £24,000
Start date – ASAP
Location – Full time at our office
This role is part of a growing marketing team, and you will report to the Marketing Manager. No two days will be the same for you in this quickly developing business. Adhering to the annual marketing schedule, you will help to create brand awareness and to ensure all of our events sell out. This is a varied role, working across all business aspects, including but not limited to: Exclusive Weddings, The Luxury Hotel, The Fine Dining Restaurant, and Corporate Events. There is absolutely room for growth and for career development here. Our company is one to build up our team, and never to hold anyone back from achieving their full potential. Below you will see your key responsibilities, though we are always keen for new ideas and for growing our marketing channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
Social Media
- Managing all Social Media Channels including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn and Pinterest
- Social Media management to include: inbox management, post, reel and story creation (copy and imagery/videography) in line with the marketing schedule, running competitions, running adverts, budgeting social media spend, and weekly analytics
- To be successful you must ensure accuracy, adhere to our brand values and tone of voice, ensure the highest level of written English, and most importantly LOVE social media!
Digital
· Writing blogs which will form a large part of our content SEO
· Manage our email marketing platform, including audience and creating weekly e-blasts
· Help the Marketing Manager in ensuring our website is optimised and fit for purpose
General
· Ensure that the marketing budget is kept up to date
· Ensure you adhere to the marketing schedule
· Achieve targets and KPIs
· Organise photoshoots, or even better, be able to take great photos
· Help the Marketing Manager across all digital channels
· Design various materials, including but not limited to – banners, social media posts, artwork for publications, creation of POS materials, printed in house materials such as menus and posters
· Many more marketing tasks as and when required from the Marketing Manager

- Keen eye for photography (preferred)
- Sufficient in Microsoft programmes
