From 01 April 2023, MoD West Moors and the Defence Strategic Fuels Authority will combine to become the new Operational Energy Authority (OEA).The OEA is responsible for the Dir Sp Ops fuel outputs including future projects, management of business as usual procurement activity and delivery of fuel support provided by MoD West Moors.
As a result, the employment terms will reflect within the advert and the employment will be within MoD Main UK Strategic Command from this date. Come and join us for an exciting opportunity to join at the start of the creation of the OEA, where you will be able to contribute, develop and evolve within this new forward thinking organisation as it moves towards its vision for transforming the existing Defence Fuels enterprise.
We are looking for a friendly, well-organised and adaptable Administration Officer to join the team at MoD West Moors.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

In addition to the above, you'll also be assessed against a technical competence and the listed behaviours, aligned to our MoD Behaviours which can be found attached at the bottom of the page.

External recruits who join the MoD who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a six month probation period.
As a result of the changes to the UK immigration rules which came into effect on 1 January 2021, the Ministry of Defence will only offer sponsorship for a skilled worker visa under the points-based system, where a role has been deemed to be business critical.
The role currently being advertised has not been assessed as business critical and is therefore NOT open to applications from those who will require sponsorship under the points-based system.
