SEO Marketing Assistant

DCTUK.com is a leading online supplier of commercial flooring products based in the United Kingdom. Our London showroom is the home of our in-house marketing team and we continue to look for the best people to join our team.

We are seeking an SEO Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team. This is an entry-level position that requires a strong interest in digital marketing, particularly in the field of search engine optimisation (SEO). As an SEO Marketing Assistant, you will work alongside our Head of Marketing & Innovation to learn how to optimise the DCTUK.com website for search engines and improve our online visibility.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify new opportunities for website optimisation
• Assist in the creation of SEO-friendly website content, including blogs, articles, landing pages, and category pages
• Working alongside our Product Owner and focusing on each product page to ensure it is optimised in every way possible for beneficial SEO
• Perform on-page optimisation tasks, such as updating metadata and optimising images
• Analyse website performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
• Assist in the development and execution of off-page optimisation strategies, such as link building and social media promotion
• Monitor and report on website traffic and keyword rankings using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SEO

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
• Strong interest in digital marketing and SEO
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console preferred
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from senior team members
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Good sense of humour, confident and positive

Our marketing team produce a lot of video content on a daily basis and the successful candidate would need to be relaxed about appearing on camera and being involved in fun marketing events when required. Outside of your SEO responsibilities you'll also be keen to get involved in general marketing tasks and be a helping hand to team members when required.

The role is a permanent, full time position based at our London showroom on Goswell Road in Clerkenwell. The position will provide a starting salary of £25,000, a TFL travel card, a laptop and free lunch Fridays.
