A well presented candidate required for a busy Optical practice in Harrow. Must have good communication skills. Duties will involve booking appointments and helping the staff with there dispensing activities. Full training will be given. Must be smartly dressed. Four days per week, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm.
The main duty will be to assist Optometrists with clinical tasks such as screening tests, visual field assessments, contact lens teaches and giving dry eye advice. Additional duties will involve cleaning and sterilizing specialist lenses, ordering products, liaising with patients and assisting with reception and clerical work.
Training will be provided but previous experience would be of value.
The ideal candidate should be:
1. Friendly and approachable, able to engage with patients and staff.
2. Have a good telephone manner.
3. Be confident using computers and able to quickly learn how to use different software and databases.
4. Able to make concise notes.
5. Must have good communication skills.

Salary: £8.25-£12.00 per hour
