Job Description

Annaghmore Agencies Ltd is an importer and wholesaler of furniture throughout Ireland and U.K. As a family run business, operating for over 45 years, we pride ourselves in delivering Customers a high level of customer service, tailored to each customers individual needs.

Currently, we are seeking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to join our Operations team at our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Annaghmore, Co. Armagh. We’re looking for energetic individuals who are seeking to start, or further their career in the Wholesale /Warehousing sector and have the enthusiasm to work as part of a dynamic team. The Operations team is a multi-skilled team who are skilled in all aspects of operations within Annaghmore Agencies Ltd from the use of our warehouse management system to operating our mechanical handling equipment. We recognise that our overall success is a combined effort, and we therefore strive to provide opportunities for our employees to learn, grow and thrive in all areas of the role. As an accredited Training Provider, we offer full accredited training so you can grow and develop within the role and your rate of pay will be reflective of skills attained.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Operating various mechanical handling equipment incl. Aisle master, VNA and Order pickers.

· Use of our Warehouse Management System

· Gathering orders for dispatch,

· Loading Trailers for dispatch

· Unloading incoming containers

· Various other duties as requested by Management adhering to health and safety rules.

To be considered for the role here are the skills we are looking for:

· Good communication skills including written & spoken English.

· Excellent timekeeping

· Ability to work as part of a team.

· Physically fit due to the manual handling aspects of the role

· Ability to take instruction and to work on your own initiative.

· Own transport due to the location of the site

Hours of work are 8.30 – 16.45 Monday to Friday with early finishing on Friday. Standard holiday leave is 31 days per annum with the ability to gain an additional 4 days.
