Essential information : We are in Gloucester but our services are in a rural location so applicants must drive and be within a 30 minute commute of GL2.

About us
Genesis (Care, Therapy & Education) is an exciting company that is growing and focused on achieving great outcomes for the young people in our care
Incorporated in 2017 by mental health professionals with decades of effective experience, Genesis provide residential therapeutic services to teenagers and young adults with a variety of social, psychological, behavioural and mental health challenges. They live with us in three residential homes in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. All our homes are in peaceful, rural locations.
We also provide access to SEN education and work with an established clinical support team. Therapy is intrinsic to our work, and we support a variety of conditions including ADHD, ASD, HSB, Self-harm, EUPD and PTSD. Our young people have had traumatic backgrounds, and we work towards developing and supporting them towards positive outcomes, to live happy and fulfilled lives.

We would love to meet experienced people from the children's care sector, or graduates with a relevant degree (Psychology, Social Care, Working with Children & Young People (Social Pedagogy/ Society) or similarly relevant qualification.) but also welcome those without experience, who are keen to learn from the ground up.
Two of our three houses have a dedicated nights team and therefore the rotational shifts in those homes only include early, late and long days (relevant to TCW's only)
In return we offer a starting package
£21,456 - £21, 982 (entry level, house specific)
£22,254 - £22,779 (post probation 6 months, house specific)
£26,000 for qualified Residential Care Workers with L3 Diploma in Children & Young People workforce (Social Care), or extensive experience in social /clinical care and relevant alternative qualifications.
£25,000 - £26,000 Waking Nights (4 on 4 off, 35 hours pw)
£29,418 - £30,214 Senior TCWs (L3 C&YP essential, minimum 1 year previous experience in a Senior Support role)

Entry level £10.55 ph - £11.20 ph
Qualified £12.79 ph
Senior £14.29 ph
Waking Nights £14.47 - £14.86 ph

Our essential requirements
You must hold a full manual UK driving licence as you will be expected to transport the children in company cars
You should be local to Gloucestershire or Worcestershire/Gloucestershire borders. GL19/GL2 and WR13, and happy to commute
Age exemption due to regulatory requirements, candidates must be 21 years or older due to the nature of our service
You must successfully apply for an enhanced DBS certificate, and register with the update service, which the company will fund
You must have the right to work in the UK
You must be able to provide acceptable references
