The Light is looking for an Assistant Manager to work in our dedicated, friendly team and be at the heart of the action.
As an Assistant Manager , you will support the management team with the smooth running of all day-to-day operations of the venue.
A successful Assistant Manager is enthusiastic and motivated with the ambition and determination to successfully lead and inspire a team. They will achieve this by demonstrating our core values combined with their own individual leadership and style.
What we are looking for:
- Enthusiastic with a passion for hospitality, film and/or leisure
- Previous supervisory experience
- Comprehensive knowledge on Food Safety, Health and Safety and licencing laws and regulations
- Confident working with technology and software systems
- Good numerical skills and commercial mindset
- Able to consistently demonstrate our core values.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Good time management and ability to prioritise effectively
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work both autonomously and part of a team.
- A desire to progress.

Please note: flexibility is key. You must be willing to work evening shifts, weekends, bank holidays and school holiday periods.
