Job Description
Premier Display Ltd are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic administration specialist to join our fast-paced business based in Glenfield, Leicester.
We are an exhibition build and installer, and typically deal within this sector, however we also do shop fits, showrooms, and other permanent fixtures.
The ideal candidate will bring new ideas and knowledge to the business by creating new processes for their personal use AND for the general use of the business.
The typical hours for this role are 08:30 until 17:00, Monday to Friday. However, in busy periods of the year you may be required to work extra hours.
Responsibilities:
- General administrative support to the office and workshop team
- Maintain all H&S documents
- Implement new processes through spreadsheets and documents
- Create and keep up-to-date client inventories
- Assist accounts with chasing invoices and credit card statements
- Maintain the office with all required stationary
- Be the first point of contact on the phone system and in reception to all clients and suppliers before passing through to the appropriate member of the team
- Obtaining stand build regulations and operation plans
- Overseeing all PPE allocation and company workwear
- Overseeing of alarms, pest control and skip hire
- New employee inductions
- Is in control of job-by-job bookings – lodgings, vehicle rentals, electrical requirements etc.
- Assisting with all logistics and dealing with deliveries to and from
Key skills required (or are willing to learn):
- Proficient in Microsoft software such as Outlook, Word and Excel (required)
- First aid trained (desirable)
- Capable of working on their own AND within a team
- Be able to work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
- A professional presence and demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Be inventive and willing to create new processes and documentation or updating current ones
- Experience within the exhibition and/or shop-fitting industry is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
