Thrifted Ltd is a leading online retailer of vintage and second-hand clothing, specialising in 80’s & 90’s brands and styles. We are currently in the process of opening several retail spaces in London; we are now hiring for our Brick Lane Space on the Brick Lane Vintage Market.
Role title: Sales Assistant
We are looking for several motivated & enthusiastic individuals to join our team and fast-growing company as a Sales Assistant at our new Brick Lane Vintage store, on the world-famous Brick Lane Vintage Market.
Our Brick Lane sales assistant will be solely responsible for the running of the store during their working hours. All sales assistants are expected to be confident, engage well with customers and help make sales.
All assistants will have the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of running a vintage store including: stock management, customer service, cash handling & display. Training will be given for our retail and store systems, as well as specialized training so that our assistants can become experts in vintage!
Shifts available:
We are ideally looking for individuals who can work -2-3 days per week.
The store is open 7 days per week with the below hours - each shift is the full shift below, there are no part shifts available.
Monday 11 am–6:30 pm
Tuesday 11 am–6:30 pm
Wednesday 11 am–6:30 pm
Thursday 11 am–6:30 pm
Friday. 11 am–6:30 pm
Saturday. 11 am–6 pm
Sunday. 10 am–6 pm
With flexibility to provide cover for other staff during other times in the week!
Responsibilities:
- Having sole responsibility for the shop and own duties.
- Opening up store / retail unit.
- Greeting customers who enter the store.
- Assisting customers in finding products.
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Processing deliveries and managing stock rotation.
- Processing payments and dealing with customer requests.
- Replenishing the rails and keeping the store tidy & clean.
- Sending daily sales reports to HQ.
- Closing down store / retail unit.
- Take control of our social media on specified monthly days.

- Capable of being responsible, and willing to use initiative.
- Happy to work on their own, and be comfortable making work during quiet periods.
- Very punctual & honest.
Helpful but not necessary:
- Any retail experience
Pay: £10.50 per hour starting upto £11.05 dependent on experience.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8-16 per week
