Customer Service & Dispatch Assistant for an Online Historic/Theatrical Clothing Company
Darcy Clothing is a specialist online retailer of historic menswear based in central Lewes.
The business provides high quality clothing for costume professionals worldwide in film, stage and TV as well as the general public. We pride ourselves in our ability to deliver quickly and accurately.
Demand from the film industry has increased greatly so we wish to recruit energetic and reliable people to add to our work force. The day may include working in our High St retail shop as well as in the online sales/dispatch area of the main building.
Responsibilities will include:
Processing daily orders accurately to worldwide customers.
Working in the High St retail Shop will be required when necessary.
Providing an excellent customer service to our costume and retail clients by gaining a thorough understanding of products.
Maintaining good customer contact by phone and email. Awareness of problems at an early stage and providing information to the customers in advance of the order.
Other skills
Excellent communication skills and an ability to prioritise
Computer literacy, attention to detail and a perfect command of English Language are essential.
A knowledge of Shopify or other web based stock management system and accounting systems would be an advantage.
Good literacy and numeracy skills are vital.
An interest in British history or clothing would be useful.
