We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our leading global life sciences organisation who will be the pillar of our LGC Standards Human Resources Team.
Our HR BP role will be a permanent position. You will be working intensely to support the management of LGC's Standards Business Unit in UK (mainly Bury, but also Teddington, Prenton/Bromborogh as well as home based employees), and be part in cross functional projects for our Standards divisions to improve talent and employee engagement and supporting escalated ER cases.
What will you do in your working day as a HR Business Partner?
- You will connect and gather accurate information that enables you to plan, manage and execute local HR projects and be part of global projects. Therefore, playing a key role in supporting Science for a safer world.
- You will be confident in supporting the HR Management in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Developing strong relationships with business and functional leaders and becoming recognised as a trusted contributor and
- Upholding equality, diversity, fairness, inclusion and respect values within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
- With regards to the Team or sites you are supporting, you will
- manage and support recruitment processes, provide and maintain accurate reporting of resourcing activity, promotes talent transfers
- support the internal performance processes, carry out training needs analysis for employees and makes recommendations for appropriate training interventions
- Develops and maintain positive and productive relationships with local representatives and members of the LGC Employment Committee.
- Monitors and manages absence and occupational health related matters.
