Would you like to be part of an ambitious organisation truly looking to make a difference to the sector?
Would you like to be part of an ambitious organisation truly looking to make a difference to the sector? The South East Consortium (SEC) is a not for profit organisation representing social housing providers in London and the South East. We exist to support the sector with procurement and sharing insight. SEC are providing customers with a growing range of services, networking and training.
Your role will be about supporting colleagues in our team, mainly helping other staff with our CRM system, technical documents, procuring contracts and creating frameworks. You’ll be involved in a variety of things by supporting our team. You’ll be involved in assisting all of your colleagues with administrative tasks at all stages of procurement, including assisting in quality evaluations of tenderers. You’ll be involved in tracking and obtaining a range of important documents. You’ll also be involved in collating customer feedback on tenders and preparing reports.
This role will be based in our office in Sittingbourne in Kent, with some home working days.
What you’ll have
You’ll be well organised and enjoy working with a wide variety of stakeholders. You’ll be able to write short reports and log customer interactions on our systems. You’ll have experience or be enthused by customer facing contact including phone calls and emails. You’ll also need to be confident in sharing customer feedback with colleagues so that we can continuously improve our business.
The workload will be diverse, so you’ll need to be able to work on your own initiative and be truly committed to any challenge that comes your way. You’ll have the ability to put the customer first – every time.
Previous office administration experience is desirable, not essential. If you’ve worked for a contractor or housing provider with a little understanding of our sector that would be welcomed.
