This job is ideal for someone who wants a little extra money. A small contribution will be paid towards your travel costs.
What I'm looking for:
I'm 30 years old and have Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. I need a (Female PA) to assist in washing/dressing/showering and to support me with another carer on leisure trips, which will be planned accordingly.
I'm someone who can communicate and likes a good laugh.
Hours: Mornings start at 9:30am and Evenings start at 7pm.
Shifts are approximately 1 hour - 1.5 hours. Sometimes a little longer.
There is now addtional hours to cover maternity leave until at least early summer
Those shifts are as follows:
- Tuesday pm
- Wednesday pm
- Thursday am
- Saturday pm
There will be sickness and holiday cover from time to time.
Requirements:
- Experience in care (preferable)
- Live local to Redditch
- Undergo a DBS check (Free of charge)
- All COVID vaccinations (preferable)
- PPE (Supplied)
- Lateral Flow Tests (Required)
- OK with dogs
- Willing/able to work during Christmas and bank holidays.
- COVID 19:
You will be expected to wear full PPE during each shift and be willing to do LFT tests if you or anyone you live with develop symptoms.
Payment:
- Monday - Friday - £12ph
- Saturdays - £13.10ph
- Sundays - £17.20ph
Wages, taxes, and insurance are done by Penderels Trust. You will be paid every four weeks either by bank transfer or cheque if you'd prefer.
Interviews:
If offered an interview this will be through Mircosoft Teams and if successful you'll then be offered to come and meet me and my Grandma, alongside one of my other carers to see what is required.
You will be on a trial basis when you start.
