Job Description

As the Library and Research Assistant you will be responsible for:

• • Providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all library.
  • Processing resources within agreed turnaround periods.
  • Returning material to shelves, shelf tidying and sequencing.
  • Assisting with research and use of facilities available within the library
  • Maintain the library and supervising user behaviour, ensuring rules are observed and the Health and Safety procedures are maintained.
  • Create displays to promote library services and resources.
  • Management of requests and stock levels for the marketing collateral for events, such as pull-up banners & tablecloths, goodie bags etc.
  • Monitoring market reports and latest trends.
  • Supporting the PR and Copywriting team

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for the role you will:

• Ideally have worked within a similar role previously
• Have a good administrative background with an interest in doing research
• Have a welcoming and friendly approach
• Be a good communicator
