We’re pleased to offer a summer placement on our highly successful
Undergraduate intern scheme.
Working in and contributing to our highly experienced Engineering team, you’ll
have a unique development opportunity working alongside experienced
engineers, learning and putting your knowledge and skills into practice, whilst
developing new ones. You’ll also have assigned responsibilities and projects
and we’ll also look at how we can tailor these around your skills and knowledge.
This year, your focus will be on working on a project to deliver an evaluation
suite for a new research and development project. To do this, you’ll be working
alongside our engineers to:
o Design the software test interface
o Design the firmware enabling PC software to control the circuit board
o Design and manufacture the evaluation circuit board.
The placement starts in July and runs for around 8 weeks
APPLICATION
To apply, you’ll have the following as a minimum:
§ Be completing a Degree in Computer Science or Electrical and Electronic
Engineering or Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
Experience in:
§ Working in a team environment to complete projects.
§ Researching topics and making recommendations.
§ Writing reports and summaries.
§ Contributing to projects.
§ Learning through active listening, questioning and application.
