Video Editor - 12 Month FTC
TalkTV is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Video Editor to join our expanding TV team based at our News studios in London Bridge. Reporting to the Head of Post Production, the successful candidate will be responsible for editing video content for a growing portfolio of programmes in the daytime and evening schedule. With a professional and approachable
attitude you will work well on your own initiative but also display great communication and collaboration skills.
Day to day you will:
Remain calm and focused with the demands of developing stories, breaking news and a ‘fast turn-around’ agenda to illustrate stories efficiently with the best picture available.
Work in a busy and high energy newsroom environment
Prove yourself to be a valuable asset to the team ensuring the smooth delivery of video content to all programme production teams.
What we’re looking for from you:
Avid Media Composer experience and an understanding of iNews is a must in this role.
A ‘can-do’ approach working as part of a team, displaying a keen eye for detail and an initiative to make suggestions and ideas.
