What you'll be doing:
Health and Safety Manager - Milton Keynes
Monday - Friday role - 8:30am until 5pm with possibility for some time to work from home.
Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We are looking for an Health & Safety Manager to join on team at a busy contract in Milton Keynes. The role will be working closely with the client and be responsible for the Health & Safety management and guidance at 2 sites on the premises. You will also provide 24/7 H&S support to the client.
You will provide competent advice, guidance and support to operational teams to enable them to carry out their HSE responsibilities. You will also undertake reactive and proactive monitoring of HSE including incident investigation, audits, inspections and analysis of performance data.
More about the role:
Ownership of H&S across the 2 sites, working with clients and other third party partners to ensure adherence to legislation and site requirements.
Provide competent HSE advice, guidance and support across the client premises, obtaining specialist support when required.
- Responsible for all H&S polices and procedures and updated where required.
- Support the communication of important HSE messages out to the teams to help drive HSE compliance
- Investigate reactive incidents and enforcement action within a timely manner through the effective engagement of the operations teams.
- Assist in the periodic programme of monitoring and auditing of compliance.
- National and International events management (from an overview perspective of risk management)
- Complete staff inductions
- Oversee Fire Warden and First Aid Management
Who you are:
- Ideally you will have experience of health and safety management in an Head Office environment
- A NEBOSH qualification is highly desirable
