Job Description

The post will be based in LEIGHTON HOSPITAL & SURROUNDING AREA

Cheshire Phlebotomy Services

BAND 2 £20,270 rising after 2 yrs to £21,318 pro rata.

Hourly rate - £10.37 rising to £10.90 after 2 yrs.

35 Hours per week - 7 day working pattern Monday-Sunday.

INCLUDING: EARLY MORINING STARTS AT 07.30am ward duty cover.

EVENINGS 14.00-20.00.

WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAY COVER.

BASE SITE IS LEIGHTON HOSPITAL.

Cheshire phlebotomy services provide phlebotomy services at multiple venues including MACCELSFIELD DISTRICT GENERAL HOSPITAL, KNUTSFORD, CONGLETON, VIN, LEIGHOTN AND ALL DIRECT ACCESS / GP LOCALITIES in the surrounding area.

The successful applicant will be asked to cover at all service locations, should the business require it, therefore driving is considered an essential aspect of the role.

This is an interesting and important job, previous experience in this field is not essential as full training is given.
