Your role
You will be a member of the Case and Document Management (CDM) Crew, which delivers innovative, efficient, and reliable case and document management platform services to streamline UBS clients’ experience. Together with your colleagues you are providing multiple client journey products leveraging SaaS and UBS’s own technology to its full potential. You will contribute to manage and evolve HR entry channels, increase self-service and client satisfaction. Another area of focus is the HR Portal, Virtual Assistant, Live Chat, and telephony
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to:
- design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
- apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
- ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
- build observability into our solutions to monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
- continuously up-skill, learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind

You’ll be working in an agile and autonomous team in the Chief Digital and Information Office (CDIO) HR team in London, UK

Your expertise
You have:
- self-driven, high proficiency and 10+ years of experience in analysis and development of ServiceNow technical solutions, ability to implement them and perform component integration tests for HR solutions. You are experienced in providing ServiceNow configuration best practices advice (workflow, UI, client scripts, business rules, etc), giving technical advice, reviewing designs, implementing CI/CD pipelines. On top of the hands-on role the candidate should be able to display competencies as a tech lead to guide and coach the group of developers and help them grow in the technical aspects on ServiceNow
- a proven track of work experience in cloud deployments (MS Azure preferred) in an agile SDLC environment, leveraging modern programming languages, DevOps, SQL and noSQL databases, and test-driven development
- proven Experience on HRSD is exceptionally good add on but in absence of the same ability to pick up HRSD skills is something which is expected
- a ServiceNow certification is beneficial
- you hold a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent. You are a strong communicator, fluent in English, from making presentations to technical writing
