We are looking for an Agile/Technical Delivery Manager to deliver the My Aviva Re-platforming Programme. This programme is one of the top three strategic IT priorities over the next three years and as such we need a strong delivery-focussed person in this role. This is a great job for someone who can collaborate with key senior business stakeholders to get a clear and detailed understanding of business challenges and customer outcomes.
A bit about the job:
This role requires a seasoned senior leader with practical experience of managing digital transformation at an enterprise level and managing change with multiple agile teams and a constantly changing landscape of strategy, design, and technology. Strong experience dealing with stakeholders and flexibility are key to this role.
The Technical Delivery Manager’s primary purpose is to manage the development of new products and services. They drive the delivery of the program/project through active management ensuring milestones are met to time, cost and quality. They oversee all aspects of a product’s lifecycle, from conception to design to production to deployment.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Background in digital or digital technologies is needed

A solid understanding of Agile, DevOps values and principles

Ability to navigate large organisations and manage internal business and technology teams

Must be a thought leader with the ability to inspire individuals and teams to change and improve

Strong client-facing skills with the ability to collaborate with key senior business stakeholders
What you’ll get for this role:

Starting salary between £80,000 and £90,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
