Job Description This is an opportunity to gain the skills to provide functional assessments and therapeutic interventions both group and individual for older patients with Dementia under the guidance of a qualified Occupational Therapist. It will provide the successful applicant with skills and knowledge in working with people with Dementia who will have co-morbid physical health problems. There will be regular support and CPD opportunities with other Occupational Therapy staff from other units within EPUT. Engaging people in meaningful activities, to maintain their independence/skills as much as possible and support the MDT to gather information about the person's functional abilities. Maximising their quality of live through engagement in meaningful activity. Providing information that will assist the MDT to make decisions about the person's future.
