Job Title: Receptionist – 37.5 hrs per week

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Competent use of Trust’s computer systems, including Lorenzo, Pinpoint, ChemoCare, Choose and Book, ICE, Ambulance booking system.
- Competent use of Aria computerised system when working in Daycase and Radiotherapy Departments.
- To make bookings and amendments on the Aria computer system for patients attending Radiotherapy and Impressions Suite under supervision of Superintendent Radiographer.
- ensure that all follow appointments are made.
- book ambulances for patients who are eligible; ensuring that patients meeting the criteria for ambulance transport; liaise with Ambulance services and other hospitals as required.
- To cover Ambulance liaison as required
- Send appointment letters to patients as required.
- To receive telephone calls and general enquires from patients, radiographers, nurses, doctors, ambulance personnel, relatives, staff of other departments and hospitals.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
- System knowledge – Lorenzo, Pinpoint, ChemoCare, Choose, Book, ICE
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Microsoft package knowledge – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
