Multi-Disciplined Maintenance Engineer
Location: Wallasey, Merseyside
Day shift
Salary: £40,000-45,000

Holiferm invites applications from inspired, innovative and team-oriented individuals for a full-time role as a Maintenance Engineer within our Commercial plant in Wallasey.
Holiferm is facilitating the transition of the $42 billion surfactant market away from harmful, fossil fuel-based chemicals to biobased alternatives. We produce sophorolipid biosurfactants: renewable, biodegradable and mild alternatives to the petrochemical derived surfactants used in household cleaning, laundry and personal care products.

Role Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high work standards to ensure safe, sustainable, and reliable operations within the facility.
- Perform first line troubleshooting, maintenance and rectification works on all plant and equipment
- Build an in-depth knowledge of all plant equipment, with a level of process knowledge, to provide optimisation and troubleshooting support within the operations team.
- Both the capture and recording all maintenance activity and history in the electronic maintenance management system
Role Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates will have:
Relevant maintenance experience and technical certification such as an HND/HNC/NVQ, and ideally have previous experience working in the chemical industry.
Relevant levels of qualifications and or experience across mechanical, instrument and electrical disciplines (with a primarily mechanical leaning preferred)
Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment and has a passion and drive in making greener products.
