Wilde Consultant Ltd continues to grow in the North West. We have been appointed to many framework contracts with public bodies including TfGM, Network Rail, universities/colleges and local authorities including; Stockport, Manchester, Blackpool, Tameside, Bolton, Cheshire East, Sandwell, Shepway, Ashford, Kent and Barking and Dagenham Councils. We also have a number of large commissions on large residential developments.
We currently have vacancies for a Highways Design Engineers to work in our Stockport office to deliver varied and challenging projects for public and private sector clients.
Experience of working in a highway design office is essential, typically with 3 to 5 years practical design experience. Experience in using MX software or Civils 3D would be beneficial but not essential. Experience in drainage design for residential developments including S38/S104 applications would also be beneficial.

- Capable of operating with limited supervision.
- Seeking increasing level of responsibility.
The roles require a ‘hands on’ approach and the application of professional engineering knowledge and skills to the design of projects.
Duties will involve; the preparation of feasibility studies, designs, scheme drawings, calculations, preparation of contract documents and specifications and supervision of contractors. A working knowledge of the DMRB and current relevant design standards/codes is essential.
