Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure the accurate processing of jobs within the Transport Management Software.
- Ensure all customer orders, PODs, and associated paperwork are processed in a timely manner in order to correctly raise invoices
- To promptly answer telephone calls within the department
- To facilitate the timely production of sales invoices within our own systems and via customer portals
- Chase customers for PO numbers
- Ensuring that all driver run sheets and relevant information is prepared for the weekly pay roll within deadlines.
- General administrative tasks to provide support to the Heavy Haulage Operations team.
- Handle customer query’s in a timely manner
- Manage customer accounts to ensure they are set up for invoicing
- To provide support to the operations team in all areas to assist them in providing a high level of customer service.
- Assist the operations team supply customers with accurate quotations for work
- Escalate any incident that may have a detrimental effect on the operations ability to deliver an excellent customer service
- ensure that drivers all following delivery schedules and health and safety guidelines
- Check all times that drivers have relevant documentation before leaving;
- maintains records regarding the movement and location of freight, containers and staff.

Qualifications / Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good IT skills- Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point
- Excellent organisation skills
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
- Previous Experience preferred

Salary: From £26,000.00 per year
