Managing Director Contract Division (Wellbeing, Health and Beauty)
Munsley seeks to exploit its extensive manufacturing capabilities from its 120k sq ft factory on a 5-acre site by creating a new division to develop a contract business.
An experienced talented driven individual is sought to build this business reporting to the Group CEO
Munsley is an Independent British £20 Million Group with various divisions that currently predominately manufactures and sells branded products around the world. The company specialises in Skin Care, Hair Care, Fine Fragrance, Home Fragrance, Wellbeing Products and Bath & Body Products
The successful candidate will have full autonomy and responsibility and will have at their disposal extensive development, design and sourcing resources.
About the Role:
Responsibilities & Deliverables
· Overall profit and loss responsibility for the CM business, building strong top-line growth through winning new business, and exceptional customer service.
· Define and execute the strategy for the CM division ensuring budgets and forecasts are prepared accordingly and delivered successfully.
· Part of the Group Leadership team, contribute to the organisation's overall planning and strategic success.
· Strategically targets the right customers and diligently manages account relationships to maximise opportunities for profitable sales growth.
· As the business leader, maintain close contact with key customers to cement customer relationships and stay ahead of changing market dynamics.
· Work cooperatively and flexibly with colleagues across the Group to ensure the customer needs are met from idea to production.
· Seek out new and innovative development opportunities and proactively target new customers.
· Deliver best in class customer experience.
Key requirements
· General Management: Previous experience in managing the full P&L of either a stand-alone business or subsidiary in similar size.
· Growth Track Record: A proven track record in successfully growing sales and profitability.
· People Leadership: Experienced in managing teams. Develops structures and cultures that optimise performance.
· Sector Knowledge: Experience of working for a respectable and well-regarded contract manufacturer in Health and Beauty or B2B manufacturer. Alternatively, experience in branded beauty, cosmetic or personal care or other relevant B2C companies.
· Customer Focus: Must have a customer-first mentality. Experience operating with demanding customers were service and innovation act as key differentiators.
· Put the Customer First: Setting the strategic direction for the customer journey and lifecycle and championing the customer into the organisation.
· Drive for Results: Strong execution orientation and an ability to deliver results.
· Authentic: Seen as a genuine person with high integrity and communicates with honesty and purpose.

· Holds an undergraduate degree in business and/or strategy, such as an MBA, preferred but not essential.
