An exciting position has become available for a dynamic and committed Full time Registered Manager
We are looking for someone who will be committed to providing and managing a quality service for our Service Users and ensuring that a person-centred approach is maintained at all times.
The ideal candidate must be flexible, able to work under pressure, and have a positive approach towards the role. It is expected that the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a caring but assertive demeanour and be passionate about providing the best possible service delivery for our service users.
Essential requirements:
Experience of managing either a Residential Care Home or Supported living
To hold or be willing to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
Duties include:
- To converse with outside professionals including social services, Service User Referral Centres, local authorities
- Attend all local authority meetings as and when they arise
- Completing and reviewing Service Users/Clients assessments
- Updating support plan / risk assessment
- Excellent relationship with service users / families/ stakeholders
- Visiting potential new admissions and completing initial assessments
- Staff supervision / probation
- Managing the team
- Identifying and implementing training/development needs for team members
- Manage own CPD to ensure your own knowledge and skills remain up to date
- Managing a Budget
- Report Writing, Preparing and Chairing Meetings
- Sending incident reports regularly to commissioners
- Should have the ability to contact & speak to company directors and keep them informed and updated at all times
- Work closely with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our service users (including Health Care Professionals)
- Maintain a professional manner at all times
- Represent and promote our company in a positive and professional manner
- Be accountable for your own work
- Provide personal care and other care duties during staff shortages
