Finance Internship

Sertec are an established company, operating internationally. Over 60 years, we have grown to become a leading provider of engineering solutions supporting industries such as the Automotive sector.
The finance intern will:
- Contributing to month-end reporting packs
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Maintenance and development of financial controls
- Working cross-functionally with other teams
- Working with stakeholders at different levels across the business
- Supporting and chairing regular reviews with all parts of the business
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, Accounting and finance standards as well as audit requirements
- Analysing data and identifying issues
- Developing your knowledge of financial systems and processes
- Building an understanding of drivers of profit and performance
Any other ad hoc duties
Role requirements:
· Currently studying a related degree
· Have a placement year
· Genuine interest in Finance
· Problem solving and analytical skills
· Excellent communication skills
· The enthusiasm to learn new things.
· A willingness to work as part of a team.
· Ability to take and follow instruction.
Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £20,700.00-£21,500.00 per year
